This dataset contains text excerpts from websites and publications of the humanist associations included in the research “RE-Green - Re- Greening Parental Responsibilities: An International Research Study on Humanist parents’ pro-environmental activism” led by Dr Morena Tartari, the Principal Investigator. The datasheet provides two dataset respectively focusing on ‘responsibility’ in humanist ethics and ‘agency’ from a humanistic perspective. 1) The main references for the ethics concerning the retrieval of data in this datasheet draw on the British Sociological Association's Ethics Guidelines and Collated Resources for Digital Research Statement of Ethical Practice Annex and the National Committee for Research Ethics in the Social Sciences and the Humanities (NESH - De Nasjonale Forskningsetiske Komiteene). This research has obtained ethics approval from the Research Ethics Committee of the FISPPA Department (CERD) at the University of Padua, upon a positive review with reference number 0003405 (UOR: D04000C -Classif. III-13) approved and registered on 27.07.2023. 2) Quotes from individuals without a current or past organizational role in or affiliation with the Humanist associations, retrieved from the websites or publications referred to in the datasheet are anonymized to avoid impacting their digital footprint. 3) The analysis of the materials that are not freely and publicly available on the websites and associated websites of the referenced humanist associations, are removed from the data sheet by 21 February 2024, which is available for reuse. 4) Non-English texts were machine-translated into English.
