Globular clusters models with a cut-off in the phase space were extended to elliptical galaxies by Ivan R.King since 1966. Moreover, it was recently proved (e.g., Djorgovski 1995, Burstein et al. 1997) that the physical properties of globular clusters lead them to define a fundamental plane close to that of dynamically hot elliptical galaxies. A possible reason of these common features is investigated.

Abstract
