A new tensiometric approach for the evaluation of the superficial free energy and polar and disperse components of the skin and of natural and formulative systems was recently developed. On the basis of these results, the relationship between the rheological behaviour and tensiometricprints was then investigated in order to perform a direct evaluation marker of stability for topical formulations.
