Occurrence of hepatic haemangiomas in 2-10 weeks old Italian reared Guinea fowls is described. The condition has been observed between November 2003 - May 2004 in 14 flocks. The birds usually died for internal haemorrhage due to liver rupture. At the anatomohistological examination the livers showed cavernous and capillary haemangiomas. Hereditary aetiology is hypothesised.

Abstract
