Individual mobility in the next years may be partially affected by an imminent world crude oil depletion. Italian evolution of circulating cars since 1950 and detection of a successive generations structure starting from car stock data is the main focus. The statistical basis is a generalization of wavelet approach. Bass–Riccati distribution acts as father wavelet. The results highlight some well defined cycles and suggest a potential growth of a new generation within this decade.
