Abstract
A GIS was developed to detect the relationships between vegetation types, landforms and topographic variables in the Mount Prado area (N-Apennines, Italy). Data sets were derived from detailed vegetational and geomorphological maps, whereas the DEM and some primary topographic attributes were derived from a topographic map. The distribution of vegetation types was correlated with landforms and topographic parameters. The correlations thus obtained were than critically analysed.File in questo prodotto:
