The present article presents a new questionnaire to measure instrumental activities of daily living for both institutionalized (residential care home) and independent older adults. The purpose is to validate a questionnaire to evaluate older adults profiles of autonomy, in a technological world which is in constant evolution. The questionnaire has a satisfactory reliability and validity, showing positive correlation with standardized tests (IADL and MMSE), and therefore can be considered a useful tool for medical screening and rehabilitation programs.
