Abstract

An equilibrium traffic assignment model with asymmetric link cost functions reflecting the effect of intersections under flow-responsive signal control is implemented on a realistic network. Extensive computational experiments are carried out in order to assess model behavior with respect to convergence of the solution algorithm and uniqueness of the solution.
