A HV DC/DC converter module suitable for radar supplies is described. It includes a single-stage current-fed converter structure and applies a control strategy which allows simultaneous control of converter output voltage and input current. The proposed solution, which is well suited for high-power, high-voltage applications, results in very reduced converter size and loss and is characterized by high stability against large load and reference variations and very fast control-to-output response.

Abstract

A HV DC/DC converter module suitable for radar supplies is described.
