The survey, directed by University of Padua (Italy), aims to propose a reflection on teacher profession starting from some teachers who were just brought into the school. In particular, a field of study concerns the "type" of skills that characterize this expert. The main objective is therefore to assess the adequacy of university education and personal skills, comparing them to the world of work and school. The results will be analyzed in a theoretical framework including empathetic and relational skills and also teaching, disciplinary, management and self-reflective ones, on social and individual levels, aiming also to improve the existing university curricula for teacher education.
