Permanenze e trasformazioni nei centri storici. Una recente analisi della morfologia urbana della città di Padova

In a town, meant as a unitary complex in an organic sense, there can be recognized some homogeneous contexts with evident morphological pproperties. The analysis of such properties has been carried out in the streets, squares and other public areas and it allows, along with urban emergencies and historical development of minor building, to differentiate the elements opposite to the site values for which proper plans of intervention are required. Accordingly, in a study on the town of Padua, the architects Luciano Pontuale (University of Gena), Camillo Bianchi and Vasco Camporese (University of Padua), entrusted by the Town Council, verified in particular the environmental value of public areas and furnished the Councillorship of the Town-planning assisted by the Data Processing Centre with the opportunity to acquire a computerized records (in course of completion) to be able to indicate possible alterations for every single building for a better formal qualification of the context.
