School inclusion has a meaningful role in the development and growth of individuals with disability. In consideration of the fact that to realize inclusive school realities time and specific professional abilities are necessary, the present work aimed, in the first place, at analyzing the current situation after thirty years of school inclusion of students with disability, by underlining main strengths and weaknesses. Secondly, attention was paid to a variable that shapes successful inclusion experiences, but which is not always taken into account: how to adequately activate the classmates of students with disability to improve the school and social inclusion process.
