Importance of Cloting in Cross Cultural Meeting among Young Students

Many students move from their universities to other European or extra-European universities for academic reasons. Not only are linguistic behaviours involved in these changes, but also cultural ones, such as those related to the way of dressing and ‘good manners’, which are culturally determined. It has been chosen to ask Erasmus students their impressions when they first entered into contact with Italian students with reference to the way of dressing. The difficulties in pointing out differences in the external aspect are always very hard. Nevertheless, summing up the above narrative of the impressions that young people have had in meeting with other young people from different nations, it can be stated that the dominant values of a society become visible through the clothing; and although they are not very different from nation to nation. Diversity among groups is noticed since it exists and is accepted as maintained.
