The research intends to understand the forms, the processes and problematic issues of the territoriality produced by SAED (Société Nationale d’Aménagement et d’Exploitation des Terres du Delta du Fleuve Sénégal et des Vallées du Fleuve Sénégal et de la Falémé), key-actor of the hydraulic territorialization in the the Senegal River valley. The analysis of territorial dynamics has identified the involved actors, their goals and their territorial strategies, setting the latter in the frame of autodirected or eterodirected rationalities.
