In this survey paper, reachability properties for discrete-time positive systems, two-dimensional discrete state-space models and discrete-time positive switched systems are introduced and characterized. Comparisons among the results obtained in these three settings are presented, thus enlightening which results can be easily extended and what aspects, at present time, are still challenging open problems.
