The aims of this work were to establish the correlation between epidermal thickening, with functional changes in surface energy, which occurs in breast operated for cancer, and to evaluate the effect of cosmetic biomimetic activation on the recovery of the epidermal functional state of breast tissue. The combination of ultrasound imaging and TVS (tenskinmetric) techniques with liposomal application of well-defined energy (68.5 mN/m) in the form of a cosmetic biomimetic activator, can reveal in a sensitive and non-invasive way the surface energy epidermal functional state in both healthy and operated breast in various conditions. Tests were carried out chronologically in 14 women operated for mastectomy and/or quadrantectomy, followed by radiotherapy. An increase in mean skin thickening of about 50.5 %, with respect to healthy values, was measured, and an increase in mean epidermal energy after biomimetic activation. of about 176 %, with respect to baseline values.

Correlation between epidermal tihickening and surface free energy reflex in patients operated for breast carcinoma by a combined ultrasound imaging and tenskinmetric analysis (TVS skin test). The influence of a biomimetic cosmetic-treatment.
