In this work we present the labelling procedures of a new somatostatin (sst) analogous with 99mTc and 177Lu using two different chelating agents. The labelled peptide was obtained in both cases in high yield and with high radiochemical purity, showing a good stability in vitro. Finally biodistribution studies confirmed the affinity of the peptide for sst receptors after labelling: both radiolabelled compounds seems to be good candidates to take forward with preclinical studies.

Abstract

In this work we present the labelling procedures of a new somatostatin (sst) analogous with 99mTc and 177Lu using two different chelating agents. The labelled peptide was obtained in both cases in high yield and with high radiochemical purity, showing a good stability in vitro. Finally biodistribution studies confirmed the affinity of the peptide for sst receptors after labelling: both radiolabelled compounds seems to be good candidates to take forward with preclinical studies.
