The book analyzes the possibilities of a Begriffsgeschichte of politics and its philosophical implications. Modern categories and concepts have a limited historicity and are bound to the State. This means that the end of the State (globalization, postdemocracy, unbundling of authority, territory and rights) discloses problems for which we need new concepts and new categories outside and beyond the frame of the State.
