Abstract
The authors have carried out an extensive survey on two historic centers of Umbria, Montesanto and Roccanolfi. The aim of the research was to understand, through the knowledge of typical failure mechanisms of stone-masonry buildings, their behaviour under seismic loads in order to improve the techniques for repair and retrofitting. A research was also performed on the old and traditional techniques in order to compare them to the contemporary ones and to solve some structure and material incompatibility problemsFile in questo prodotto:
