Individuals, Minds and Bodies. Themes from Leibniz

Question: analytic metaphysics is the kind of metaphysics that contemporary analytic philosophers study? We do not think so. One of the aim of this book is to demonstrate that it would be misleading to think so. The reason is simply that also some important past metaphysicians adopted an analytic style concerning their analysis of some of the metaphysical problems mentioned above. G.W. Leibniz is surely one of them. His analysis on the notion of identity and individuality, or on the difference between artifacts and biological entities, or, again, on minds and bodies are pieces of analytic metaphysics.
