The paper describes a method to define a non-linear dq model for the analysis of low-rate self-excited single-phase alternators. The saturation is taken into account by means of the dependence of the inductances, determined by non-linear magnetostatic FEM analyses, on an equivalent current distribution. The results of the application of the method are compared with experimental data.

Abstract
The paper describes a method to define a non-linear dq model for the analysis of low-rate self-excited single-phase alternators. The saturation is taken into account by means of the dependence of the inductances, determined by non-linear magnetostatic FEM analyses, on an equivalent current distribution. The results of the application of the method are compared with experimental data.File in questo prodotto:
