Abstract
In RF-Ablation therapy electric current flow inside tissues causes a local temperature increase in order to treat liver tumors: thermal field prediction is very useful to the surgeon in order to optimise the treatment and numerical methods get more and more necessary. The paper deals with an application of the Cell Method to the solution of a real problem in order to simulate a possible treatment of liver metastasis for a realistic case. The Cell Method is an approach to the numerical solution of field physical problems that has been recently applied to the electromagnetic computation: here we expose the approch to the computation of electrical and thermal conduction.Pubblicazioni consigliate
