A comprehensive study on the behavior of brick masonry vaults strengthened by FRP laminates is here presented. The influence of the type of fibers (Carbon, Glass) and their position (intrados or extrados) are investigated by experimental tests on laboratory samples. The obtained results allowed to clarify the failure mechanisms modified by the presence of the reinforcement and to define and calibrate the related analytical models.

Abstract
