Abstract
The peripheral nervous system, revealed by staining with the acetylcholinesterase reaction product, is described in the colonial ascidian Botryllus schlosseri. Nerves emerge from the cerebral ganglion in the form of large anterior and posterior roots, mionor lateral roots and a single visceral nerve; they form a complex plexus of fibres reaching all organs, except the neural gland and the gonads. No peripheral cell bodies were identified by morphological criteriaFile in questo prodotto:
