The major difficulty in predicting environmental magnetic field levels originated by multiple independent power lines is assessing the relative phase angle displacement between line currents, since it is a variable which can not be measured directly and depends upon the line loading conditions which may vary considerably during the day. In this work an original procedure is proposed, which combines computer modeling, analysis of historical line current data and magnetic field measurement on selected sites, capable of providing reliable estimates of the magnetic field exposure levels generated by multiple-corridor power line configurations.

Abstract
The major difficulty in predicting environmental magnetic field levels originated by multiple independent power lines is assessing the relative phase angle displacement between line currents, since it is a variable which can not be measured directly and depends upon the line loading conditions which may vary considerably during the day. In this work an original procedure is proposed, which combines computer modeling, analysis of historical line current data and magnetic field measurement on selected sites, capable of providing reliable estimates of the magnetic field exposure levels generated by multiple-corridor power line configurations.Pubblicazioni consigliate
