Values of cyclic efficiencies of this boiler can be calculated by simulation at partial load and compared with experimental results and those of other high efficiency boilers, for tap water services.

Abstract

Thermal water heating by sun is a simple concept. The energy of the sun is absorbed into simple solar collectors in the garden of the property or in the roof of the house. The water heated to 50-60 °C is pumped in a combined boiler. This paper focuses on the combination of high efficiency boilers with simple collectors. The boilers used are conventional or condensing instantaneous boiler. Values of cyclic efficiencies of this boiler can be calculated by simulation at partial load and compared with experimental results and those of other high efficiency boilers, for tap water services.
