In this paper we analyse the sports practice of female pupils attending a high school in the Veneto Region in order to detect eventual differences between the girls born in Italy and those born abroad. There are non significant differences in terms of practice intensity, type of practiced sport and motivation both to sports practice and non practice. This pupils whose parents are born abroad start their sport experience, in general, after the others. No difference is observed as regards to problem in sports practice of pupils born out of European Union.
