The first goal for nursing as a discipline beyond nationality for the health of human beings, is the implementation of a multicultural perspective in professional programs. Educating with a multicultural perspective is consistent with the basic disciplinary value that the health of the person is the paramount phenomenum of interest, regardless with race, culture, sex, and religion. Education for nursing should be not merely an acquisition of some professional skills, but, above all, the acquisition of a distinctive epistemology in which scientific knowledge is driven by ethical values and humanistic philosophy.

Abstract
The first goal for nursing as a discipline beyond nationality for the health of human beings, is the implementation of a multicultural perspective in professional programs. Educating with a multicultural perspective is consistent with the basic disciplinary value that the health of the person is the paramount phenomenum of interest, regardless with race, culture, sex, and religion. Education for nursing should be not merely an acquisition of some professional skills, but, above all, the acquisition of a distinctive epistemology in which scientific knowledge is driven by ethical values and humanistic philosophy.File in questo prodotto:
