The important role weight’s control is well known to all. Less known are the influences on lipolytic mechanisms of the moment of the day on which it is performed. Were recruited 14 subjects, divided into two homogeneous groups who practiced the same circuit workout in the morning (AM) in the evening (AS). Were measured after 60 days of training modification of anthropometric parameters as: weight, fat mass (FM), lean mass (LBM), % of muscle, thickness of skin folds and circumferences. We also measured any changes in the maximum oxygen consumption according to the indirect protocol of YMCA. Nutrition was controlled and maintained the same for the two groups all along the experimental period. After 60 days we have found no statistically significant changes in any parameter between the two groups except for a significant reduction in the thickness of the iliac skinfold in AM group. From these preliminary data it seems that the positioning of training in different moment of the day, morning or evening, does not lead to differences in the effect of circuit training on body composition and maximum oxygen consumption.
