Simulation of beam (recoil) interaction with the target has been carried out to produce a realistic input for the Recoil Mass Separator (RMS) of Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro. Subsequent transport of the recoils through RMS is calculated using transport matrices. Good agreement with experimental spectra is obtained and RMS transmission evaluation fairly compares with measured values.

Abstract
