The aim of this work is to emphasize that both the calculation of marginal and average uniyt costs of the exergy flows, i.e. the internal economy, can always be perfomed by a direct ispection of the productive structure. The productive structure of von Spakowsky and Evans is considered here, which is bades on functional exergy flows, not necessarily coincident with those ofthe pyisical structure.
