Pyroxenes, olivine and spinel of a peridotitic spinel nodule from Mount Camerron (Cameroon, Africa) were investigated by X-ray diffraction (single crystal) and electron microprobe analyses. Their crystal-chemistry is compared with that of constituent phases of spinel peridotites nodules from NE-Brasile and Mount Leura, Victoria, Australia. This preliminary study, shows that the Cameroon nodule reveals close crystal-chemical similarity with brazilian nodules. For the Cameroon nodule the last inter- and intra-crystalline equilibration temperature are of about 1000 and 650°C, respectively, for a total pressure of about 15 Kbar

Abstract
Pyroxenes, olivine and spinel of a peridotitic spinel nodule from Mount Camerron (Cameroon, Africa) were investigated by X-ray diffraction (single crystal) and electron microprobe analyses. Their crystal-chemistry is compared with that of constituent phases of spinel peridotites nodules from NE-Brasile and Mount Leura, Victoria, Australia. This preliminary study, shows that the Cameroon nodule reveals close crystal-chemical similarity with brazilian nodules. For the Cameroon nodule the last inter- and intra-crystalline equilibration temperature are of about 1000 and 650°C, respectively, for a total pressure of about 15 KbarFile in questo prodotto:
