Abstract

Hysteroscopy made remarkable progress in recent years and actually results a relative simple and valid method, to be used as a routine diagnostic procedure in endocavitary pathology. Classic management of cervical lesions (polyps) usually includes the outpatient removal, but polyp's recurrence is often seen, as polypectomy may not be complete in a first time. Actually, hysteroscopy showed to be an extreme accurate and simple method in the diagnosis and management of this type of benign uterine pathology. The aim of our study was to define the role of hysteroscopy in the management of cervical polyps. All women underwent an office hysteroscopy before polipectomy.
