We present two ultrabroadband optical parametric amplifiers based on periodically poled stoichiometric lithium tantalate. Both systems produce two-cycle pulses, in the near-infrared (8.5 fs at 1.3 {\textmu}m) and mid-infrared (25 fs at 3.5 {\textmu}m), respectively.

Abstract
