The inner-shell photoabsorption spectra of the Be I and Be II ions between 60 and 110 Å have been obtained by using the two laser produced plasma technique. The observed spectra correspond to transitions of the inner 1s electron starting generally from the ground or low lying excited levels. Some Be I resonances beyond the ionization limit show clearly asymmetric profiles. The measured photoabsorption spectra are well fitted by the cross-sections computed by Reilman and Manson.
