A serosurvey on lentivirus infection was carried out in goat, shhep and mixed flocks in Tuscany in order to assess the prevalence and to identify the associated risk factors. At AGID test at least 1 animal was found positive in 15 (47%) out of 32 goat flocks, in 12 (80%) out of 15 massese sheep flocks and in all the 2 sarda sheep flocks and the 5 mixed flocks. Among the several demogrphic and management variables considered, the size of flock seems the only factor associated with a higher risk of infection

Abstract
