Two species of Eimeria were identified in Abruzzo chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra ornata), E. rupicaprae (in 81% of animals) and E. riedmulleri (in 85% of animals). Gastro-intestinal and lung strongiles, whipworms and tapeworms were also observed. Out of 106 observed aimals, 92% resulted positive to coccidia, 48% t gastro-intestinal strongyles and 15% to whipworms and tapeworms.
