An overview is given of the available generators for the ep reaction, as they are implemented in the general purpose Monte Carlo HERWIG. Deep Inelastic Scattering, boson-gluon fusion, J/psi production, photoproduction reactions will be dealt with, focusing on the unique features of the Marchesini-Webber description for the parton cascade development in both time-like and space-like domains. We will concentrate mainly on the enrgy range of HERA, which will offer the next physics oppotunities for the ep scattering. A comparison with the previous data from the European Muon Collaboration experiment will be also presented.
