Abstract
The paper describes the key issues of the ITER ac/dc converter design: the reduction of costs and dimensions, the maximum reliability and availability of the converters and the possibility to implement strategies for reducing the reactive power absorbed from the grid. The most innovative aspects of the design are focused and the main results of the analyses and the R&D task performed are summarised.File in questo prodotto:
