Abstract
A printed loop antenna for mobile WLAN applications at 2.4GHz has been designed, fabricated and characterized. The structure is based on a CRLH transmission line that guarantees to achieve in-phase current even along a non-small loop. Numerical simulations and measurements performed in anechoic chamber on fabricated prototypes confirm that the antenna exhibits good 50-Ohm impedance matching, and the radiation pattern is truly omnidirectional in the plane of the board, with high radiation efficiency and horizontal polarization of the radiated field.File in questo prodotto:
