A System is presented which supports the knowledge process of a building and manages not only ways for setting the knowledge but also the knowledge itself; thus it is a system that assists the operator responsible for the maintenance of the building. In its general configuration, it is a complex system made up of multiple hardware and software interaction one with another. The main core comprises a software system which assists the expert in three fundamental activities: 1) Consultation of the characteristic elements of the domain (activities, agents, information, tools, archives) and of their relations; 2) Preparation of the Building Computerised Card through retrieval and elaboration of information relative to buildings under investigation; 3) Consultation of the card containing information relative to specific buildings.
