An Information System as an instrument for promoting industrialisation in the Construction Sector

To promote the industrialisation of the construction sector and to organise its complex structure, it is indispensable that an Information system be set up which will be able to guarantee a supply of information which is universally understood and widely disseminated. The present work focuses attention on the complexity and composition of such a system, which would need to be capable of gathering and managing a considerable quantity and variety of data and be able to identify the possible contexts which would provide and make use of the information.
