This report aims to identify the new criteria to be used a successive stages of the building process to reduce as far as possible the amount of waste produced in building construction, maintenance and demolition. In synthesis the research will define, from the design stage on, a guide which takes account of the possibility of recycling some building parts with particular attention to cost reduction in maintenance, dismantling and re-use.
