The book is the Final Comparative Report of the Project The Project “Speak Out! Empowering migrant, refugee and ethnic minority women against gender violence in Europe”. The Project has received the financial support of the DAPHNE Programme of the European Union. The Editor was responsible for the whole Project involving five different European places: Padua (Italy), Madrid (Spain), Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), Helsinki (Finland),and The Netherlands (The Hague, Amsterdam and other cities). It followed the perspective of giving voice to women from the grassroots of society through the use of self-empowerment methods and the implementation of resources for gender agency in the local contexts.
