I discorsi dei presidenti di Confindustria: una lettura mediante l'analisi statistica dei dati testuali

This study is aimed at examining a corpus composed of 76 addresses delivered by the last 16 Presidents of the Confederation of Italian Industries (Confindustria) in the period 1945-2012. The study raises questions that can be answered thanks to the statistical methods implemented in the text analysis framework and other procedures which may be used to identify the characteristics of texts (and their authors) and compare texts (and subcorpora). The study discusses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the approach and highlights its connections to qualitative approaches.
