This paper describes a study conducted on the efficacy of art therapy administered to a group of adolescent patients suffering from personality disorders at a residential rehabilitation center. It is only little more than 50 years since the idea of ‘art therapy’ proper was first mentioned and studies about it are very pour. Particularly, this study integrates both quantitative and qualitative approaches to the evaluation of therapy’s efficacy.
