The purpose of this study is to report the advantages of the most recent and innovative systems we have used during the last five years for the surgical treatment of the most common pathologies of the forefoot. For each of the pathologies, we have searched and selected methods and techniques that, based on the improvements achieved over time, are able to increase the percentage of positive results, decrease the percentage of failure, simplify the work of the orthopedic surgeon using pre and postoperative care protocols (implemented by us and validated by other orthopedic surgeons), and improve the well-being of patients during treatment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to report the advantages of the most recent and innovative systems we have used during the last five years for the surgical treatment of the most common pathologies of the forefoot. For each of the pathologies, we have searched and selected methods and techniques that, based on the improvements achieved over time, are able to increase the percentage of positive results, decrease the percentage of failure, simplify the work of the orthopedic surgeon using pre and postoperative care protocols (implemented by us and validated by other orthopedic surgeons), and improve the well-being of patients during treatment.
