This study is focused on the constitutive analysis of the bladder tissue mechanical behaviour. The procedure accounts for a coupled experimental and computational approach. The first step pertains to the design and development of mechanical tests on specimens from porcine bladders. Whole porcine bladders have been harvested, and the respective specimens have been subjected to uniaxial monotonic and cyclic tests at different frequencies and along different directions. A specific fibre-reinforced visco-hyperelastic framework has been developed, whose parameters were identified by the inverse analysis of the experimental data. The agreement between experimental and model results suggests the reliability of the procedure.
