It is known that Slovene generally allows a wider use of PF verb forms than Russian. In the sentences expressing iterated situations this phenomenon displays with particular evidence. This paper enquires/concerns the use of aspect in Slovene (in comparaison to Russian) in the expression of unbounded iteration, i.e. in those sentences including such adverbials as vsegda 'always', kazdyj... 'every...', obycno 'usually', casto 'often', to i delo 'every now and then/constantly', vremja ot vremeni 'from time to time', inogda 'sometimes', redko 'rarely' etc. and/or their equivalents in Slovene: vedno/zmeraj, vsak.../sleherni, navadno/ponavadi, pogosto/pogostoma, veckrat, od casa do casa, vcasih, redko. In the here presented analysis the actional class of the verb form will be taken into account, as well as the contextual features influencing the choice of aspect in Slovene. In the expression of iterated events/situation the Russian language mainly shows neutralisation of aspectual choice.

Abstract
In the expression of iterated events/situation the Russian language mainly shows neutralisation of aspectual choice.Pubblicazioni consigliate
