The article deals with the critic that Reinhart Koselleck makes to Otto Brunner’s use of historical sources, which is regarded as a crucial point to understand the methodological reflection of both German speakers authors. This reflection is related, on one hand to the history of political and social concepts; on the other to constitutional history.
